What is the capacity of the cottage?
The cottage has a maximum capacity of 4 adults. A cot can also be added on request.
Is the cottage suitable for children/babies?
For young children, the cottage has a few games and colouring books, as well as a small table and chairs. In the kitchen, there is a high chair in addition to adult chairs. Baby equipment is also available on request and free of charge: potty, changing mat, cot, high chair.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes, and at no extra cost! The beds are made on arrival, including the cot if you wish. You will also have one large and one small bath towel per person.
Is the cottage accessible to people with reduced mobility?
The cottage is on three levels, with the main living areas on the first and second floors. Unfortunately, this means it is not very accessible for people with reduced mobility.
Does the cottage have Wi-Fi? Is there a television?
You will have access to Wi-Fi without any problems. There is also a television in the living room, with most of the usual channels, and an HDMI port for connecting another device if necessary. There is no DVD player.
Is the kitchen equipped?
Yes, the kitchen is very well equipped: you will have a ceramic hob, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a dishwasher and all the usual crockery and utensils.
Is there an outdoor area?
There is a small enclosed garden for your use, with outdoor furniture: chairs, table, 2 armchairs, cushions and a barbecue.
Is there a private parking?
Yes, there is an uncovered outdoor car park for 2 cars reserved for your use next to the cottage.
Is it possible to do laundry?
Yes, a washing machine is available in the laundry room on the ground floor of the cottage.
Will I find basic supplies for cooking and cleaning?
You will find some basic spices, tea, coffee (Senseo pods and ground coffee for a traditional coffee maker), dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods, basic cleaning products, etc.
Where exactly is the cottage located?
The cottage is located in Renlies, a small village in the municipality of Beaumont, in the Hainaut region of Belgium. We will provide you with the exact GPS coordinates a few days before your arrival. You will be less than 10 minutes by car from the Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure complex.
Are there any shops and restaurants nearby?
There are no shops in Renlies itself. However, in Beaumont and Froidchapelle, 7 km from Renlies, you will find all the shops you need for your shopping, as well as a variety of places to eat. We will be happy to share our favourite places with you!
Is it possible to go hiking from the cottage?
Yes, and our favourite walks are available here! All you have to do is download the gpx files and lace up your boots!
What time can we arrive and when do we have to leave the cottage?
You can arrive from 5pm and must vacate the cottage by 11am on the day of your departure, so that we can prepare the cottage for the next guests.
Can I bring my pet?
We want to ensure that our guests enjoy a place that is as free of allergens as possible. For this reason, pets are not allowed in the cottage.
Can I smoke inside the cottage?
No, the cottage is non-smoking, especially since it is equipped with a fire detection system.

Is it possible to arrive independently?
Wherever possible, we prefer direct contact for key collection. If this is not possible (e.g. arrival during the night), a key box will allow you to arrive independently. The code for the box will be sent to you the day before your arrival.
